Australia's national curriculum debate
8th April 2010

Yesterday, the ABC's Australia Talks discussed the proposed national curriculum.  For such a significant initiative, I'm surprised there has not been more discussion and debate, especially given the failure of the last attempt.  I argue that the new curriculum focuses too much on indigenous, Asian and sustainability perspectives, to the detriment of Australia's Judeo-Christian heritage and what owe to Western civilisation.
